Challenge

Zalando was undergoing a significant corporate rebrand, aiming to shift its positioning from a marketplace to a fashion tastemaker. This brand ambition required a digital architecture capable of inspiring partners while addressing critical internal inefficiency. The challenge lay in creating a unified system adaptable that could consolidate scattered resources, relaunch a business-critical self-service platform, and simultaneously roll out the new inspirational brand identity to its selling partners.

Solution

We designed and continue to evolve a scalable Partner Experience System that anchors the Zalando brand and its wider partner ecosystem. In close collaboration with internal UX teams and multiple partner stakeholders, we built a unified, modular platform framework. It enables operational efficiency, supports growth-oriented marketing content, and maintains coherence across all partner communications and touchpoints. From infrastructure to interface, our work sustains Zalando’s pace of brand evolution—translating marketplace complexity into crystal clarity and brand ambition into lasting digital excellence.

Impact

The successful launch transformed the fragmented partner experience into a single, scalable portal capable of delivering tailored operational and inspirational content. It enabled improved self-service efficiency, high engagement with news and updates, and measurable improvements in partner clarity and satisfaction globally.
